Nat and her Drakon have been flying around the Blues trying to protect her kingdom from the military armies. Nat is a Drakon Ryder, and a drakon is something like a dragon. In the first book, Nat is trying to find the Blues, which is a 'mythical' place where it is said that everything was beautiful. The story is set in a place called 'New Vegas' which is really just a new version of Las Vegas. However, after so many years, the whole place turned into an ice shelf. Everywhere was cold, cold and cold. There were no birds, no grass, nothing living except for our own race. Everywhere, people lived in poverty. The army were also searching for the Blues, however after being defeated by Nat, more came to attack. Wes, a boy who had helped Nat find the Blues, had parted ways with her, Nat stayed to guard the Blues whereas Wes decided to leave and keep racing cars for his living. He is trying to find his sister, who was 'special', she, like Nat was someone from the Blues, she was special and was taken away from her twin brother. She could set fire to things and had powers.
